Yeah, I know there is an investor in talks - I think that's the question you mean?

Yeah, I know there is an investor in talks - I think that's the question you mean? Are they a billionaire Andy? I understand the confidentiality agreement and all that, but could you ask them to give us a real timescale with the season fast approaching and what the delay means to squad/player development/budgets and hope these talks are impacting on the club in the short term. Also, maybe talk to and interview other directors and staff. It isn't all about JN. KC has been as quiet as a mouse. The complete opposite to last season. We are only a couple of weeks off pre season and most of us have never been so underwhelmed or depressed with the club.

Yeah, I know there is an investor in talks - I think that's the question you mean? I'm a bit confused by this one. You said you were not subject to the confidentiality agreement so you have no idea who the investor is but then say that you know there is an investor in talks. Does that mean you only know the same as the rest of us, ie that Jenkins/Nixon have claimed they have this new investor or do you have additional proof that the investor is genuine, even if you don't know who it is?

That's what I wonder about a few other folk who have said that there definitely is an investor. Wouldn't that have just come from the same source? ie Nixon and Jenkins. If no one else knows anything because of the confidentiality agreement then how would it have come from anyone else?

End of the day Andy is just going to have it on the word of Nixon. Nixon is hardly going to be telling folk in the club that it's a lie if they need to keep the charade going.

There are processes to be undertaken in these situations which wouldn't happen if it was a fabrication, and which do not involve direct contact with members of staff who are on the outside of the procedure ... obviously by that I mean with the investor or his/her representatives.
Those processes have been actioned.

We all know how this is going to pan out
Talks will "break down", the fictitious billionaire will never be revealed
Laffy will have walked off
Same old, same old
When this happens, don't boycott, buy a seat in c stand as near to the directors box as possible let your feelings be known.

Will that happen though? Or will people just say they'll do that and then plod along accepting absolute cack as the norm as they have done for the past few years? I know what my prediction will be

Those processes have been actioned. I dont think even Nixon would invent an investor. But i can see him exaggerating the situation, making out that whoever he has found is more serious and/or rich than he is, awaiting the inevitable 'break down in talks'. Who is going to hand over millions with Nixon et al still at the helm? The club will not progress with John Nixon, Andrew Jenkins and Steven Pattison involved in decision making. It hasn't ever since they took over and even with new staff appointments, it wont if they carry on, which is clearly what they are trying to do.

You sure the wool`s not getting pulled over your eyes Andy - and while all these shinanighans are STILL going on who is sanctioning the players KC is bringing in? re budget - terms - lengths of contract etc - yeah thought so JN

spratty - we'll have details of the kit launch soon, just finalising it with the supplier.
seesaw - all Football League clubs are subject to Salary Cost Management Protocol, a set of figures which MUST be submitted biannually. These figures are based on actual performance in terms of revenue generated across all areas of the club. It is from these figures that the amount of cash the club can spend on player wages is set.
That, popularly, is termed as the 'budget' - but a lot of factors can affect it and you can justify an increase in spend if you have evidence to back up the increase (more cash generated through higher attendances, for example).
That's a very broad brush explanation of a complex system.

"A meeting with the potential investor is being scheduled to take place in the UK on the earliest possible date to fit in with his international business commitments once all the requested information has been examined". (Andrew Jenkins 2nd June 2015)
- Officialcufc - can you confirm if this meeting has taken place yet please.
