They'll announce his signing tomorrow and then slip the announcement that the club is going into liquidation and hope nobody notices.

Could be weighing up any offer we've made. Of course, he may be weighing up alternatives as well. Given the lukewarm reaction to him on this forum he may well opt for retirement. Definitely capable of doing a job at this level. Should we sign him - and add a wee bit of pace on the flanks - we may have the makings of a half-decent side. Granted, we'd be no Barca - but come on folks, this is the fourth tier... Interesting that the local rag only picked up on him a couple of days ago. www.newsandstar.co.uk/carlisle-united/latest/carlisle-united-boss-curle-eyes-big-striker-jabo-ibehre-1.1218192

Why should we automatically play dire football just because we are in the fourth tier. Look at the sides who went up most if not all didn't play hoofball.

"Curle eyes striker Jabo Ibehre"........opens link.....Keith declined to comment on speculation. Just as he refused to comment on Miller when the same rag printed it's tale about Miller, a week after the rumour was first made known on here. Curled has made it clear he won't be speaking to the media for a while. Wukkie, I'd take hoofball and a playoff push over fancy football and midtable. Guess that's a personal preference.
