I'd be happy with that if we were also getting a wedge of cash - 500k would be a fair price as Potts has been gash for the last 6 months.

I'm pretty sure he is. Was on loan at Bradford last season, sure he is contracted at Blackpool until the end of next season.

Potts is in fresh talks with Blackpool according to the Transfer Centre Live Twitter account. (Can't do links) Just been put up on Twitter in last hour. SBA may at least be half right for once.

More likely he read what you did and posted it on here quicker, that isn't ITK it just means he posts faster.

Someone on Twitter this morning said he was away to Blackpool. Nothing about Zoko though.

Just signed, 2 year deal with the option of a further year. Compo package being agreed. Not that bothered, was more concerned about losing Gillespie. Dempsey's a far better prospect - scored as many goals as him in just one season. He needs to nail down a position as well - never really imposes himself in midfield and switches off too much. If Potts had stayed and improved, he might have got a Championship move - as it is, I'd be surprised if Blackpool are much better than mid-table fodder.

His heart wasn't in it here any more, good luck to him for the future but i'll be surprised if he goes any higher as he seems to lack male genitalia

Can't blame the lad. Who would honestly want to stay at CUFC the way it's gan? Hope we got some decent compo for him. Sure Nixon is already p!ssing that away like they did with the Madine & Wembley money.

Cant say im at all bothered. Too much of a luxury player when we needed players to get stuck in.

Expected but still a little bit gutted. Cant blame him, although Blackpool csnt have been ideal form him. Will be an interesting season for him, if he performs as he did first half last year he should do well, but if its like the second half then their fans wont have any leniency with him, especially with the current atmosphere at the club. Also that pitch will not suit him at all, no running with the ball on that surface if it deteriates again. As for CUFC how would he have fit in, got to expect a midfield of Joyce Dempsey and Kennedy he would have been forced into filling a position to get a spot.

Potts was dreadful glad he's gone. Very overrated because he came through the youths if he was anyone else he wouldn't of played anywhere near a 100 games. I'd like to know the stats of how many games we actually won when he started.

I'm happy we got money for him; he's not half as good as he thinks he is. I wish him well and hope he proves me wrong. It'll be interesting to see what happens at Blackpool and as said above how he copes on the poor home pitch. The best thing for Potts is that MacDonald is there now but who knows what will happen at BFC next season I get the impression it will be more of the same from the chairman?! Maybe they are try to incorporate the Newcastle 'Ashley' model of buying young talent that they maybe able to sell on? Although I'm not convinced Potts can play any higher than league 1. As already said far too lightweight and too inconsistent.

From playing on the best pitch in the lower leagues to playing on that bog wont help him in the least bit, good luck to the lad but like a lot are saying I'm not really that bothered.

I don't mind him going. I'd like to know how much we got for him and hopefully that will be spent on our squad.
He is good on his day but he doesn't have enough of them and he plays like the world owes him a living. Good luck to him. I hope he goes on to do well and have a good career.
I'd Welcome zoko back in a shot. We don't have much/any flair in the squad apart from dempsey and the odd flash from a asamoah

I think Blackpools pitch will suit him, whenever the ball bobbles off his foot from now on he might get it back.

on his way to Blackpool and zoko coming the other way. why was this (potts) deemed as news 2 hours ago? i thought it was common knowledge this morning? as for bernard, he and approx 17 others don't play for blackpool any more.

I hate undisclosed fees with a passion. N&S is reporting that we've got more than £150k for him but doesn't give an actual figure.

Probably the same sort of people who'd willingly join Blackpool, they are hardly a shining example of how a football club should be run, in fact they are probably in a worse state than us. Good luck to him though. Change of club might do him good

I don't know about that. Probably doubled his money for starters, playing in a higher league (better standard), playing for a good manager (Macca - great football when at Brunton Park), stable club (balance sheet healthy), decent stadium (3 sides of it anyway).

He played well for the first half of the season then once he felt he'd done enough to get a move he stopped trying. Didnt have the heart and at lower league level that's massive. Last few games i saw he clearly wasn't bothered. Moving to Blackpool with the state they are currently in is a risky move, could go either way for him long term.
It was far more important that we kept Dempsey and Gillespie.

Good dynamic player but technically not great.
Strong enough to compete but lacking in the finer details.
Oh well.
