I think brendan should have a word and ask him to stay, still their best player. gullit once thought he didn't need shearer, it cost him his job! Managers get so up their own arses.

Not saying, I reckon someone will know. Will reveal it tonight at 10pm if not! If anyone gives a toss like, which I doubt they will. Lambretta will nail it if he sees it.

Suppose it depends what music and scenes/cultures (if you are in to music) you are in to. Certainly a pretty important and well known band I would say.

Try not to use google for absolutely everything. Well done, just use it for the things you don't know, not the things you do know. That should work.

Itchycoo Park & All Or Nothing would be their most recognizable probably, Sha La La La Le as well. Paul Weller was a big fan of theirs. And no, not from Google

Sha la la la le was a song the band hated like, it was created to draw in female fans - wasn't wrote by them, was a Don Arden inspired idea. It's on a documentary about them on youtube that and also mentioned here on wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sha-La-La-La-Lee

Interesting, never actually knew that. I'd definitely agree it's the one song that sounds most different to all their other stuff, that explains why...

Bruce Grobbelaar's popped up again talking about Liverpool, he said that he can't believe that the management and the owners don't want Gerrard to stay until the end of his career. Here's the problem with that...
They offered him a new contract... He obviously turned it down due to the fact that he won't be playing every game anymore due to his age, the likes of Giggs and Scholes accepted this and had longer PL careers. Gerrard's ego is apparently too big to let himself sit on the bench for a few games every season.
So he's jumped at the chance to go to the MLS where he'll earn a much larger pay packet and most likely play every game. Liverpool have done the sensible thing by not going overboard, i don't know what Grobbelaar and other fans expect the club to do. Regardless of what he's done in the past, he's not THAT good anymore, he's not worth throwing countless amounts of money at just to try and get him to stay.

The Small Faces were a superb band - check out Ogden's Nut Gone Flake album. Tin Soldier is one of my all time favourite singles. Once Marriott left, they recruited some unknown ex-Brentford footballer called Rod Stewart and changed their name to The Faces. One of those 60s bands whose members died young - Marriott, Lane and MacLachlan.

McLagan had a pretty decent innings mind, died last month at 69.
Reading "it's all too beautiful" about Marriott at the minute.
Great music.
