Not sure what you're on about? I was referring to the 'Ginger Manc Twat' chanting aimed at Paul Scholes. Was there more? Well earned if there was. Is he still the most booked player in champions league history? Don't get how he can ping a ball 50 yards to someone's feet, yet so consistently mistake someone's shin for a ball!

Their manager destroys their European History by conceding pre-match but they sing towards Scholes instead... Suppose it was "Banter"?! "destroys their European History" by losing 0-1 in Madrid?! Hypebole alert! Do the 8 European trophies not count anymore? Bernard Tapie all over again eh! Wins against Basel, Ludogorets and Bournemouth would mean last 16 in Europe and a cup semi-final. Could be worse for them. Did Keith Curle destroy our JPT history by losing with a weakened team at Tranmere?! I want my £8 back then!

IF he is the most booked player EVER in the entire history of the Champions League, it'd hardly be surprising. I bet there's not many players made more appearances in it..?

Embarrassing for them, why not go and have a go?! Basel May as well not turn up way folk are going on! What was the score in Switzerland again? Any Liverpool fan happy with Tues (And there's plenty about!) must be loopy...

I don't think Ronaldo strolled through it! Awful from him. I don't know any Liverpool fans who are happy about losing, but to say their European history is "destroyed" isn't true, is it?

Ronaldo was very quiet, 5/10 performance I thought. Shankly will be turning in his grave with the actions of Rodgers on Tues. He took that job as a rated manager, he's turned into a clown...

Football has become about hoovering up as much money as possible, not winning trophies. Teams dread winning a cup or finishing in the Europa Cup places for fear of it contributing to relegation the following year and falling off the gravy train.

Just because Liverpool see fit to pay him £100k a week doesn't make him a good manager.

Not sure what you mean, not sure you do either. But i can see why you and siameseclown get on. "Not sure what you mean" - get that tattooed on your forehead. Cheadleblue has put it more simply, so that may help you. How do you think your "A" team will get on today lookatme? You going? You ever go? Your wife got a LFC tattoo on her arm?

Beaten by best team in Europe, best team in England today, just beaten. With upcoming fixtures they really need to start winning before they play Man United. They really need Sturridge back. www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/165012-liverpool-s-2014-15-fixtures-released

Just because Liverpool see fit to pay him £100k a week doesn't make him a good manager. Getting them in the CL probably did him some good, probably rent Disneyland for a day with his wealth. Di Matteo got a real test on to get Schalke in CL.

Seems he got them into the champions league by accident more than out else, soon as he has had money to bring in his own players its went tits up!

The only reason they got into the CL is now playing at Barca...

Just reading this thread after a while,
CCU , stinkyturner, do you actually enjoy football at all or is it just a way of venting your frustrations , even at a team you don't even follow? Just seems sad beyond belief the amount of time people on this forum devote to slagging off something that has no effect whatsoever on their lives. Fair enough have a twine about Carlisle , but if the likes of stinkyturner have nothing better to do on a weekend than try and slag off Liverpool fc , when no one really cares , they must lead a pretty sad existence.

The thing is, like Spurs and Everton (Clubs who´s dream is the CL), they are only 4 points off fourth yet have been pretty abysmal so far - also only 5 points off a relegation place mind. It is good to see West Ham and Southampton and Swansea doing well - even Newcastle are doing well and Hughes seems to be getting a lot out of Stoke now. Very tight League apart from Chelsea to me.
Good to see Fraser Forster doing well also, Southampton fans must be buzzing - keen to see if they buy in Jan, can´t see them paying over the odds for anyone but Clubs obviously know they have money and are likely to be trying to seal a CL spot or top 6 at the very least. Getting to the nitty gritty now for them as they have the following in a row at home:
Sun 30/11/14 PRL Southampton 14 : 30 Manchester City Mon 08/12/14 PRL Southampton 21 : 00 Manchester United Sat 20/12/14 PRL Southampton 16 : 00 Everton Sun 28/12/14 PRL Southampton 15 : 05 Chelsea Thu 01/01/15 PRL Southampton 16 : 00 Arsenal
Good League, interesting to follow.
