Make's you sort of glad Hartlepool and York didn't get relegated when you look at the map!

What a crap division to be in like if you live in Carlisle and go away, 2 decent train trips with no hassle.

Are we allowed to put the fixtures on here Deano? Yes, absolutely no problem whatsoever. The rules about that changed a couple of seasons ago. I'll also have them up on the new website around mid-day tomorrow: www.thecumbrians.net/index.php/fixtures-results

We are crap away however far we have to go so doesn't matter too much. On the other hand our home form should be brilliant, lots of long trips. I would say no team should want to come to Carlisle but the offer of an 3 points is probably enough to make it worth their while

The leaked list on Twitter for the first day had us away to Northampton - Looked more like a typed iPad list to me than an official document!

Plymouth Away on a Tues is a p*sstake!!! Surely the people making that decision must realise what a ridiculous idea it is and was absolutely p*ssing themselves when they have it the go ahead?

On paper that is a tough end of the season. Portsmouth, Luton, Cambridge, Oxford and Notts County are five of the last seven. Arguably five of the biggest teams in the league or biggest spenders.

With so many teams down south, we were always gonna cop for a few daft Tuesday night trips & a run of a few on the trot. What do folk expect?

Post by edenvalley on Jun 17, 2015 8:25:40 GMT
Do the people who organise the fixture ever actually take the fans into consideration or for that matter the team? Tuesday matches away to Plymouth, Orient, Northampton and Luton in the first four months all after a home game on the Saturday. No midweek home matches until late in the season
