Andrew is there any way that you could get together with your investors and find a way of buying the incompetents out. Had enough of all this confidentiality rubbish. We are going to go into another season and already the deafening silence from the club has put the mockers on it.I was Fir the first time in years looking forward to a new future with a good business plan in place openess and hope for the future. Instead after fifty plus years of following the club I have no intention of going back to BP as long as the two incompetent liers are still there. They continue to ignore and insult the people who support the club and their if you has been appaling.

Hi
I have to say that I have precisely no information on any front. No contact from the Club or its lawyers at all.I am therefore in the same position as all outside those who I assume are bound by their Confidentiality Agreement.
Our group remains in position to do something to help the Club if requested but the timelines have clearly slipped.
Cheers
Andrew

Cheers Andrew Andrew, when talks are supposedly ongoing like they say, what is a typical length of time to conduct these talks bearing in mind the size of the company we are talking about? Is this level of confidentiality normal? I'm not experienced in these matters unlike yourself but to me it is taking an age to even come to some kind of progress if, indeed, there is an alternative interested party.

There is no hard and fast rule so this could take weeks or months or not at all-many factors influence things.I felt in my deal that the club year end was a good cut off point. This allowed time for DD and legal drafting and gave a reasonable lead in to the new season ,whilst also drawing a line on AJs benevolence.
What is clearly irritating a number of observers, judging the various comments, is the lack of any clarity on pretty much all fronts, leading to the inevitable speculation.I can only assume that no news is good news as I would have thought a cessation of discussions would be announced by the Club and as I say,I have had no contact with the Club at all.
Can't add anything to that!
Andrew

Cheers. I can understand the need for more time if the proposal is worth investigating but the timing is terrible for a football club. I appreciate they need to protect anonymity if that is what is wanted but that doesn't mean the owners can't give us an outline or a timescale to work to.
Every day that passes without a word is another slap in the face for those of us who have already bought a season ticket and all those ready to part with their hard earned not knowing if they will have a team of donkeys again or something worth watching and being a part of.
1300 ST sales is appalling for a club like Carlisle. It should be double that in this league.

I agree. Very little incentive to buy. All those ideas ignored as ever. I work with a Blackburn fan who just paid £270 and they get loads of extras throughout the year. I pay about £370 for football two divisions below and made to feel like a leper when I go.

Carlisle charge around the same as most other clubs in our division do.
Some teams in the league below us charge nearly as much as us and that's for non-league football.
Teams like Blackburn, along with othe premier league teams can afford to charge lower prices for their season tickets to get their stadiums filled.
If we started selling season tickets for £200 a pop it's not like all of a sudden another 5k people are going to buy one, it would most likely mean that the club sell slightly more but make less money.
Carlisle fans moan about ticket prices every single season, they always have and they most likely always will.
As much as fans hate to accept it, clubs see us as cash cows.

I understand that deckchair. Clubs higher up get more tv money etc but lots of clubs have worked on season tickets to encourage a big percentage of their fans to buy one. Blackburn probably average about 14k and get 9k are season ticket holders. About 65% . We have about 25%. Far far lower than average nationwide I bet.
I don't mind paying the extra than other clubs higher as I know the club need it but they don't appreciate it or try to entice more to buy one do they?
