the toad faced f*cker wants his windows potted on a regular basis as a bare minimum, they are doing all they can to hold on to power at any cost, even if it f*cks the club big time. laffy will leave along with all his investors, this deal will turn out to be another 'curry waiter' scenario and we end up back at square 1 with these c*nts in charge. vanarama here we come.

Lapping thinks Nixon doesn't want to step down, no sh!t! Doesn't want to be second best, he wants to help Club. Timing is appalling he says. Hate to think he's been used, especially after sorting the things holding Club back. Trust has to have a good look at what they do. Obviously felt threatened by the reality of the new MD being appointed. What a complete twat.

Look at the basics, if the current BoD were interested in the best for the club, they would be seeing Lapping's deal through and leaving this new investor (if there even is one) to put their offer to him instead so that we can get on with things behind the scenes and on the pitch rather than lingering in limbo.
They are interested in themselves, not the club, and this is just the latest in a long line of decisions to consciously take the club backwards. Disgrace. Don't live in Carlisle but give me a shout when the protests are on.

This has clearly been the plan all along.
When things got nasty at the Cambridge home game, surprise surprise the Lapping deal gets announced by the BOD in the following days.
It was clearly all done to avoid people kicking off at future home games, with the idea being to get to the summer and then f**k the deal off. Which they have done.
They are so short sighted that they are probably hoping we are top of the league after 6 games next season and they can act like heroes and everything will be forgotten.

I look forward to Lapping saying definitively on here that the money is in place to pay over. While he is at it, he should say how much is due to be paid and when.
The BoD can't just pull the plug because it suits them. Lapping and his chums must have given them reason to do it.
My money is on Lapping not being able to deliver on the deal.

Is it just Nixon blocking this, Jenkins 'advisors' must have a say in this?
Smacks to me that their pockets will be lined and a retention of power - basically what they wanted in the first place.
Makes me sick to the stomach.

If they have dicked AL around all along, and he's spent decent money on the process - I hope he sues them.

Thank God I didn't yet buy the season ticket that I don't need in the first place. Nixon etc are a shower.

If they didn't want the lapping deal all along why didn't they just tell him to **** off? Why has he been giving it the billy big bollocks before he's even in charge? How has he been allowed to? You cannot just walk into someone's business and say your taking over. If there's no new investment we will go bust, that's what we were told, so why would the BOD make it up? Have the trust lost their power?? Looks to me like they have, cannot believe it's only relate to to the lapping deal!! So blue yonder will go ahead, if the club can find an investor and some fellas good at property deals, God knows we're they will find them......

Don't go Andrew fight fight fight the supporters are with you and were behind your plan. We don't want no 5 year deal if it's true!!!!! We want a fully self sufficient well ran club.

If there are new investors Mr Nixon name them. You appear to be determined to kill the club we all love off. This latest so called development is highly suspicious. People have bought season tickets based on a new board of directors being in place with a good business plan. If somebody else is stupid enough to give money to the present set up then the club are doomed.

One way of doing a hostile takeover is to get enough shareholders to vote out the management and vote in a new management which would approve a takeover.
We won't be able to do that with our current shareholding split.

Stick with it Andrew you have the fans backing, this present farce just goes to underline why we need you, and why we are in such a mess they couldn't organiser a p**s up in a brewery.

The longer Lapping takes to come on here and say the money was ready to pay over, the less inclined I am to believe him. And what is the betting that it is a £25K investor who wants a hostile takeover ?

An offer was made to Jenkins last season which he refused and this new offer isn't anything to do with that. The whole way it's been done stinks. Lapping has been doing this for 9 months and if they is another offer let Andrew and the investors take over and do it from there. This is just about Nixon and co remaining abd having power. I also include Story in this.

The money was in place and the prospect of more. All £1.26m? A week or two ago it was said that around £800k was guaranteed. Not been any new investor announcements since AL's mate from London.
