You have to admit that the atmosphere down at BP has been pretty poor for at least 2 seasons now. I think its time now that the fans come together and actually do what KC has said, and make BP a fortress.
I know the club in the past destroyed what fans were doing in the WRE with stupid fire safety regulations for flags etc. But maybe its time to start again. With a new manager in, we need to lift the team and be the 12th man.
On another thread it was mentioned by BaggersBlue “Get back to BP in numbers, vocally support the team and if things don't improve immediately not to get on the backs of the players or target one player for particular ridicule. Whoever I speak to in professional football always talk about the atmosphere at BP, and that when the crowd get behind the team the noise is amazing in the dug out. They say it is intimidating and unnerving. We have to create that atmosphere more often and help make Carlisle uncomfortable, in the right way, to visiting teams."
I totally agree with this ... It’s time to get BP bouncing again.
What happened to discussions on the singing section? Does anyone know?
Are the past creators of Ultras Carvetii on here??

I know the club in the past destroyed what fans were doing in the WRE with stupid fire safety regulations for flags etc. This is the norm at football clubs now, if you google it, "football ground flag fire safety regulations" you'll find that the majority of clubs now require fans to have a fire safety certificate for any large flags that they bring I to the ground. This isn't the club trying to be dicks, it is law. www.wsc.co.uk/forum-index/27-football/566825-do-you-take-big-flags-to-matches

If flags are a fire risk then surely the football shirts on our backs are just as flammable?
Every club in european games display flags all the time, even at other grounds in England.
To be fair, all I want is more noise down at the ground, I don't really give a toss how its done. It's just more enjoyable going to a game, getting behind the players and creating a good atmosphere with fellow blues supporters, that will spurr the lads on.
BP has been a cemetary for years.

The Warwick road end is where it went wrong. The idea is to create atmosphere, but unfortunately any sound coming from the Warwick road end stays in the Warwick road end. No one else can hear it.

Yeah the acoustics are all wrong in the WRE.... I remember when there was an epic atmosphere in the East Stand right by the away fans. This sadly ended due to too much violence and people getting band for years. If there was a section that was organised correctly for dedicated fans who actually sang it would be such a positive move.

Can the club not sell the flags that meet the standards? 2 birds 1 stone.

Can the club not sell the flags that meet the standards? 2 birds 1 stone. They did. Anyone aged between 16-25 with one had them confiscated upon entry. A 5 year old with his dad though? Yeah that's fine. We spent a fair bit of money, and went through every possible channel to get the club onside. UC was started to support the club, but near the end it felt as though we were up against the club. I agree with the posts above, flags are great. The stewards would bullshit us saying "Flags are banned from every ground in the country. Its just we are the only stewards who bother to do our jobs properly". And other such ridiculous excuses. You could explain all day that they were wrong, but they make the rules at the end of the day. Us mere fans just abide by them, or get chucked out.

Last week at Unterhaching I went in the Bielefeld end, they had about 50 Ultras there - decent effort as it were at 7pm on a Tuesday.
Had a fair few flags which the Stewards had to look at before they were let in, none had poles or rods mind. The big trend over here is them stickers - these Ultras were going around peeling all the ones off from the previous match and putting their own ones on - probably get a banning order for it in England.

Yes the ones in England probably will have certificates, the majority of the big flags that go over fans at the start of matches are supplied by the club's anyways. Of course the acoustics in the WRE are wrong, it is basically a cow shed, it was even described in the Blue Yonder report as "agricultural". Our stewards being ********s and going power mad is just another thing that the club need to get sorted, they cry out for support and say the fans should come back and support them yet don't help themselves at all. But to be fair, are flags going to bring back all the lost fans ?

It would be ace if a section sang in Latin and phased the opposition.

Atmosphere is created through excitement and passion, things on the pitch will need to improve massively for the paddock to get excited.
10 chavs waving flags in the WRE won't improve things much, it's false. Reminds me of the cheerleaders at the American football, except most of them are tidy with fit little bodies and most of the ulras had acne and bad attitudes.
Just gone to find my flak jacket, back soon.

"I remember when there was an epic atmosphere in the East Stand" Fucks sake siamesedream what are you on about? and Stinky, were they "chavs" ? bit narrow minded. I couldn't really give a toss about the flags to be fair, more the chants and singing, getting behind the players on the pitch and enjoying a game of football. Or we could all continue to stand there like drones and complain like many of who gan in the Paddock.

That's the biggest red flag of a toss ****.

Have we reverted back to the old message board here?
You would of thought this board was to have a craic with fellow blues fans, instead its a playground for people like you to just kick off at people without any foundation.

My life is pretty good, you're obviously not happy with yours as you constantly pick at a fictitious version of me that you've concocted, which is a bit desperate. Going away for the week, wonder if you'll be less mental/stalkerish when I return. Laters.
