We lacked everything really, Miller with thee worst miss I have ever saw, had a awful game is he becoming a waste of space? Didn't understand why Potts was brought on and played in a attacking role but I suppose the game was dead and buried by then. Meppen-Walter showed his inexperience at this level and lack of game time with his game in general and the needless red card. Is it a 1 match ban or 3?

I was there too and it really was a poor performance. Too many avoidablemistakes. It was not that they weren't trying more a case of too many having an off day and some being a little in awe of Walsall. ... something I would never have thought I would hear myself say. A thoroughly miserable pre Christmas match. Had we won we would have been looking up rather than down the table.

Heard some saying Miller lacked support. How would he get support when he couldn't hold the ball up for more than half a second? Meppen Walter was at fault for their first goal, but I felt maybe the red card was a bit harsh, but I have seen them given. Bare in mind he got kung foo kicked a few minutes earlier, and Sean O'Hanlon made a much worse tackle earlier on, which only merited a yellow. Our fans applauded when the ref got the yellow card out for that one, as it could have very easily been a red. Ehmer's yellow was harsh too, but he looked solid, although their 2nd goal came from his flank. There was a few times when Lawrence tried to do too much, although he didn't receive a lot of the ball. MOTM had to be O'Hanlon though.

Meppen Walter had to go. He crashed into their bloke at almost twice the permitted speed.
