Team: Pickford Symington, O'Hanlon, Meppen-Walter, Chantler Thirlwell Potts, Berrett Redmond Madine, Guy
One other thing, somebody needs to tell Guy to be gambling on Madine's flick ons as a few times at Tranmere Madine headed it over their defence with nobody running onto it

I wouldn't drop Symington after how he's played in the last 2 games. Much better going forward too and as we need to win games I'd stick with him

(Hopefully) of those three only robbo deserves a start. millers finished and amoo is just a lazy glory player whom we can't carry. we need 11 players out there that want to be there.

Amoo hasn't been arsed or effective since January, if you're playin **** the bare minimum is to put the effort in until you get your form back or you just keep regressing. Kav is bound to stick with the 3-5-2/5-3-2. if robsons the only one fit I'd putRedmond in a free role behind Madine and have the midfield 3 of Potts-Thirlwell-Robson. Pickford Symington Brown OHanlon CMW Chantler Potts. Thirlwell. Robson Redmond Madine
Subs Fleming Pearson Brough Berrett Lynch Guy Novo
That gives us our 5 loan berths filled. I wouldn't have that lazy twat Byrne anywhere the squad

Thought that was Guy`s game - getting in behind. What is it with these lads, they get their chance - they get somebody to play off and they don't bloody do what they usually do. If true, as I wasn't there- I just despair!!
AND re Amoo - I get the feeling he`s bothered about getting injured - And what's happened - he got injured

You could see from Liverpool game today how much the backing from the fans can help .especially at start of the game. As we mainly play to Waterworks end in first half , I say club should open this up FREE to fans to create an atmosphere and help us get started

It would be a good idea for the BOD to accept a loss of money on one game, sell tickets at a low price and try to fill up a stand. Even if they only do it once to motivate players to end this run of mediocre results we're on

Rounds 1 and 2 of the FA Cup, the League Cup until (if) we meet a Premier league team, and any JPT games should all be kids a quid, adults a tenner, pensioners a fiver, and we are at home in the first round of any of them, it should be included for season ticket holders.

If the board want to start to prove that they do give a **** they should but their hands in their pockets and fund the defecit by running the 10 quid deal till the end of the season.
And for anybody who goes in and buys all 3 at once a ten quid voucher for the shop to be spent on all the crap in there that we.ll be looking to shift with a new supplier coming in next season.
And while were at it give all the season ticket holders 2 x free tickets to give/sell to their mates to use between now and the end of the season.
But most of all just do somthing for fucks sake.

We play 3 at the back, last 2 games, conceding 0 goals, and you all want to switch to a flat back four straight away?! Pickford Chimbonda, O'Hanlon, CMW, Symington, Potts, Thirlwell, Berrett, Chantler, Madine, Guy.
Subs: Fleming, Brown, Lynch, Redmond, Dempsey, Byrne, Novo. Think this weekend may just be too soon for Miller, Amoo & Robson, especially with the knocks they've had...

Thirlwell back in alongside Berrett should give Potts the license to get forward. It'd be good if Robson could play the left role, but if it's too soon it's too soon, don't want him risked at this stage of the season. Another option would be Pascal on the right and Brown in the back 3. Pascal worked that position well against Peterborough at home if I remember right.

Pretty sure I didn't name a flat back 4.
You're right about FA Cup, forgot other team had to agree on prices. Hopefully Symington plays on Sat , we need to attack and go for the win .

Pickford
Brown, O'Hanlon, CMW,
Symington, Potts, Thirlwell, robson,Chantler Redmond Madine, .
A formation which can switch between the, 3/5/1/1 the 4/3/3 and the 4/5/1/1 and robson in CM as i personly think he could do the job has the pace strength, good at tracking back, energy and can back up chantler if he wants to attack, or possible have robson at left wing back and chantler in midfield.

Amoo likely to be in the squad, too early for Miller and Robson. Sounds like Noble could also be back before the end of the season.

Id go
Pickford Symington CMW O'Hanoln Chantler Thirwell Potts Berret Amoo Madine Robson
Doubt he will Chimbonda will more than likely come back in with Redmond keeping his place either way reckon well win 3-1 Swindon have been poor away from home also worth considering if we win this weekend then PNE secure a play off place may take some of the importance away from next weekend for them

Lets get it right its 5-3-2!!, the ''wing backs' bomb on no more than our full backs do in a 4-4-2.

Think that's wishful thinking. Preston are currently 18 points clear of 7th - they probably consider that play off spot well and truly in the bag! They are currently, however, only 6 points behind 2nd and they go to Brentford the game after ours. I think we can assume they will very much still be trying when we play there!

Not the impression that SG gave on Extra Time
He said in their position more importamt to be fit and ready for the challenge of the play offs than to go chasing a distant dream of Automatic Promotion and then go into the Play Offs having failed in it.
But as you say all that might change if they were to win their next two and Brentford lose theirs.

Amoo plays well and the team play well. Thirlwell, Chantler also having good games. We'll deserved three points, shame on the other results though but will give us confidence.
Defence has improved and it was a good finish by Madine

Symington, Chantler and Madine the pick. No one had a particularly bad game. Redmond was a bit of a passenger and was rightly taken off and Chimbonda played some very risky passes out from the back but other than that you can't really fault us today.
5 clean sheets in the last 8 games. It's safe to say Kavanagh has sorted out what Abbott failed to sort out in his entire 5 year tenure. We need to start putting the ball in the net more often though.
Still think with our run in we'll probably go down, but as long as we're keeping clean sheets we'll pick up points so we're in with a chance.

Great performance today. Credit to Kav... The team was well thought out, they looked like they knew exactly what their jobs were in the team structure and they restricted a useful and inform Swindon team to very few chances.
Both wing backs had cracking games and were easily joint M.O.M for me. Great to have Thirlwell back too. Very composed in both positions... Apart from one daft drag back which nearly cost us. Madine looked a lot better than the player who left.. He has learnt how to hold the ball up and link play. Although he missed a sitter free header from 5 yards, he took his goal really well and put in a good performance. Amoo ran himself into the ground today making those who call him lazy look a bit stupid. His pace caused lots of problems.
Fully deserved win and a thoroughly professional performance. Repeat that from now until the end of the season and we have nothing to worry about.
