you could add the 'for us' to a lot of players names, doesn't make them bad players. bad coaching perhaps?

Just me that thinks he should be starting? Some of our best results and performances have been when he's been upfront. Decent on the ball, a real hard worker, and we actually pass it when he's upfront. I'd prefer him as the lone striker, not Miller. Looks like Kav agrees!

Although it was a really good team performance, Having Guy instead of miller didnt really add much.

Guy got stuck in a lot more and worked a lot harder. I think him and Lawrence up front could be a decent partnership, especially if you've got Robson and Amoo on the wings.

Today pretty much confirmed what I always thought, guy works his socks off but doesn't actually contribute much. Miller might not run around as much but when the ball is in to his feet, he uses it more intelligently than Guy.
Miller for me over Guy any day.
Guy would be useful to bring on when running down the clock, hurrying the opposition etc.

We looked more like scoring when Miller came on, and miller also seemed to run back more, as he had more energy. He wont run around all day like guy for a number of reasons one being miller is 6ft2 will be a lot heavier than guy so will not have the same natural fitness.

'He wont run around all day like guy for a number of reasons one being miller is..... a lazy sod with no fitness or pace. But he's a far better player than Guy. Mo Farah would probably run around more and has better pace and fitness levels, but that doesn't mean I'd want him playing up front for us!

i was making a point at what a ridiculous statement he made. because miller is taller and heavier than guy he wont have the same natural fitness? it's not like he woke up yesterday a stone heavier and 6 inches taller than he was when he went to bed. jonah lomu is taller and heavier than miller and i wouldn't question his fitness and pace.

most people with a brain cell know that the build of a person has an effect on how athletic they are, therefore their natural fitness. Another things which miller has is a brain,to pick a pass. Far better player than Guy.

'most people with a brain cell....' yay, footymad is alive and well. '.....the build of a person has an effect on how athletic they are, therefore their natural fitness'. hurrah, 6foot 7 17 stone jonah lomu is nowhere near as fit as me. i new this extra scranning was worth the effort.

The problem is, he knows it. Which is why he is lazy, and cocky with it.

He was never a runner, not even in his first season when he got player of the year. No one complained then because we were doing well.
If we play to his strengths, and by that I don't mean hoof it towards his head all match, he makes our team tick. Feed the ball with decent quality to his feet and he's technically good and has the vision to pick out a pass. Brentford at home this season was an example of how to utilise miller's qualities.

Soixante-neuf minutes of Guy and we do not score, indeed we go 0 - 1 down despite having a man advantage.
Then Miller replaces Guy and three minutes later we are winning and Amos goes on to make a penalty save.
Miller is an inspiration to everybody, who should not labour for 90 minutes.
