I know these lot had a few suspensions yesterday but thought they would have been better
Apart from a great finish for their goal and when Amos made that save in the second half, they never really looked like hurting us. With us having more of the ball over the 90 (I think), if we had a bit more of a spark in the final third, the result could have easily been reversed.
Having said that, if you play poorly and still come away with the points, that's promotion/playoff form I suppose.

'I know these lot had a few suspensions yesterday...'
we had no recognised lb or rb, no robbo making runs, and we had miller falling over as usual and failing to chase anything that was more than 3 feet from him.
they must have been **** to only score 1.

We ran at them from the off, with no end product. Weve done this a few times this season. Preston were a poor side, on a poor day (you dont get into the top 6 by accident) Poor sides who win, are a promotion candidate.

Preston bullied us physically, where quite well organised and took their opportunity... However, I thought they were one of the worst teams to visit BP this year. On another day, with a better ref, we would beat them. They were very one dimensional... And given their larger budget were technically poor on the ball. They seemed to have one plan... Launch the ball forward to "Chunk" up front. We couldn't cope physically with them and they were allowed to get away with murder by a poor ref. we do seem to struggle with big physical long ball teams at times.

we do seem to struggle with big physical long ball teams at times. for 'physical long ball teams' write '**** poor bottom four teams', 'semi pro 3 leagues below us teams' etc etc
