Just been ratching around Twitter and noticed that Jason Banton has started following Lee Dykes and Kyle Dempsey. Played on the wing for Plymouth last season and is also a target for Notts County. I could be as wide of the mark as superblueabbott always us, but then again, maybe not.

A free agent in a position we could use somebody. Makes sense.

Good signing if we get him, happy with that.

I wouldn't read much into this. It looks like he's started following loads of footballers from various clubs in the lower leagues.

Looked a decent player in the brief appearance I saw of him and on the telly. Where would he fit into a 5-3-2 though?

Anybody noticed how many Nob Enders follow Dempsey? There is a long running thread on PNE online. A former teacher of Kyle's has been waxing lyrical about him for the past year....

Apparently Banton has followed the Notts County head scout as well. Damn.

it's one thing getting our hopes up because BBCRC follow someone (they usually know something), but this is ridiculous. Since following Dempsey he's followed a Stevenage player, a Crawley player, an arsenal player, a Wimbledon player, Nile Ranger. Take your pick.

We should have known better. A decent player in a position we are lacking in?
Whatever next? A statement from the board?

The billionaire will bring him in. Have faith. No doubt Richard Branson is getting him on the virgin train and whizzing him up to carlisle 1st class as we speak.

Realistically we need a couple of wingers and pacey wingers at that. Last years team was unbelievably slow, it was tough to watch. Whatever league you're in, if you're going to challenge for anything pace is a must.
