If it's owt like last week it'll be boring & slow as f.ck. Hodgson probably be happy with a point. Can't see us going all way through qualifiers without dropping points.
0-0 or 1-1.

Rooney's finishing has been w@nk so far. Should have a hattrick. If he spent more time practicing and less time on that ridiculous hair he may end up a decent player and he needs his ears pinned back the fat Scouse ,Manc twat

13,006 (official), Main stand (3,601 seats) West stand (4,884 seats) North stand (2,981 seats) South stand (1,540 seats) 13,056 (local club), or 13,400 (slovak stadium guide). could be a 3 amigoes style update policy on the websites.

Ah, good old newspapers, listing the match as being played at the other 'national stadium' - Arena Petrol. Happily corrected.

I'm still in shock after watching that. Great win! Still be some pain to come next summer against some half decent sides.

There aren't that many decent sides.
Out of interest - what price are you that England don't get to the last 16?

SD your point is valid, none of the traditional big guns pulling up trees. Not a bad chance for us to do something if we can sort a winning system out.
What is the format in the group stages in France?

24 go, 8 go out in Groups. 6 Groups, top 2 in each and then top 4 best 3rd placed nations go through to the last 16.
If I had to price up England making last 16 at the moment I would be about 1to7.

Pretty much guaranteed, especially given they are all European teams, to go through then. I'd not be a layer.

I wasn't aware of the reorganised group stage, until the other day. Why have they altered it? To give the bigger footballing nations as much help of progressing as possible?

Ruined a perfectly good 16 team tournament, by lobbing in 8 extra teams to create more games to make TV Money & Sponsorship...

Was announced about 4 years ago I think.
More nations more matches, more money - it ain't rocket science! They would have the CL knockouts stages best of 7 if they could get away with it!
