2 years of his life firmly down the drain because of joining us. Or a wasted opportunity for him - did he do enough to make the step up to League football?

2 years of his life firmly down the drain because of joining us. Hardly down the drain,he would be on a lot more money here than Gateshead.

And he can at least say he played in leagues 1 and 2 and wasn't just a conference player all his career. Simply not good enough but good luck to him, hope it works out for him back at Gateshead.

Best of luck to him, could still see him being an effective league player in the future.

Hardly down the drain,he would be on a lot more money here than Gateshead. i'm sure when he joined the club offered him a weekly wage that was lower wage than his gateshead one but abbott stepped in and changed it. (something like that anyway) “He actually wanted to make the deal happen by taking a bit of a salary cut,” Abbott said. “I go goosepimply at that. It shows he’s absolutely hungry and I think the fans will love him because of what he’s all about, that appetite. “Anybody who says he will take less money to make the deal happen – and to be fair, we didn’t allow that – is fantastic and triggers off a real good sense of what he’s going to do for us.”

when your main position the the "Number 10". theres gonna be very few teams in the lower leagues that play anything other than 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1

He's more like a number 2 than a number 10. (and i don't mean right back).

He was about as good as Carlos Roca/Ryan Baldacchino.
I expect his career will follow a similar path.

He thought that he was better than he actually is.
Had a poor attitude towards training I am led to believe and played under four managers and only briefly shone under Thirlwell.
Bit injury prone as well.
