The staggering lack of silence from the club continues.
My idea is to put five questions to Nixon on this board for officialcufc to pass on to him to answer. We can have a discussion about which five should be asked and then post them on Monday, giving him 7 days to answer.
Hopefully fan pressure should elicit some form of response. If it doesn't then we'll have even more confirmation of the contempt within which he holds the fans.
My idea for Q's is below. Feel free to debate their merits:
1. Who is the 'mystery investor'?
2. If you can't tell us now, when will you?
3. Is there are deadline for the 'mystery investor' to make a firm offer?
4. If the mystery investor deal falls through, will you look to continue with the Lapping deal?
5. When do you expect to end your involvement as a director with CUFC?

The media need to be putting on the pressure also, for me not enough is happening from the trust. The Trust is nothing, it shows that in the lack info they received from the evil 2!

1. Mr A. Figment 2. Never 3. Just after the playing staff string three favourable results together. 4. Look, laugh & point. 5. When you pry my cold dead fingers off the trough.

Can the evening news and star and radio cumbria not ask these questions?

No point in myself or anyone else e-mailing them to him, far too easy to ignore an email in your private inbox from Joe Bloggs the Carlisle fan.
I'd hope that the media are asking these type questions of him, or would at least want to if they had the chance. But, as far as I am aware, they have not stated that this is the case.
The idea is to have a record of the questions being asked in a public space which are backed by fan pressure. If he answers, at least the fans will know something more. If he doesn't, we'll have a record of him ignoring reasonable questions from the fans on the key issues surrounding the club. We know that officialCUFC prowls here and would see the questions.
If folk reckon its a waste of time, then i'll go back to my rapping and and we can all go back to our twining.

If, and this is a huge if, Mr Investor does exist and is serious, then there's no way he'd answer those questions - and rightly so due to the confidentiality agreement that is said to be in place.
Of course given the fact that nobody believes this **** and bull story, people just aren't accepting that.

It absolutely doesn't make the slightest bit of difference how public the forum is where the questions are asked. It also doesn't make any difference to him who is asking the questions. He will not answer any questions, he will hide behind confidentiality, he will be out of the country, he'll pass the blame to others etc, etc.
We need to consider the facts here. Firstly the Lapping deal was something he did not want to happen, but the radio campaign and the fan support meant it had to be explored, so he reluctantly went along with it, he has seen an opportunity to increase his shareholding in the club because of it, so he will now try to cripple the Trust, and ensure their holding is diluted. In order to stop the Lapping deal in it's tracks he has invented a new mystery bidder (this after he has been on record saying there has never been outside interest in the club, ever), knowing it was likely at least one of Potts, Gillespie or Brough would leave for cash. Now that Potts is going (the fee will never be disclosed), he can effectively say that talks have broken down with the mystery bidder and he'll go along with the Lapping plan but without any outside backing. The share dilution will stay in place and he, or a mate will hoover up the shares. That last bit is perhaps not fact, yet.

I'll add some questions to your list for you, and I'll also carry on emailing Nixon myself, to which I've had one reply so far... Also, please don't give up the rapping

1. Of all your FA & FL perks/freebies, which is your favourite?
2. What do you think is the most catastrophic decision you've made during your time as MD of Carlisle United?
3. How do you manage to say to people that you're a 'fellow supporter' without bursting into fits of laughter?
4. What's been your favourite insult thrown at you from the Paddock so far?
5. How does Pattison's arse taste?

The N&S usually respond to any approach we should encourage them to push harder in a very public manner to put pressure in JN and AJ. If it all turns out to be lies they will need a fairly deep bunker to hide in for the real flack they will be in for.

There will be somebody down at the N & S reading this mate, they get most of their Carlisle stories off the messageboards. They just won't be able to contact him. He's like a modern day scarlet pimpernel.
He'll be all over the media when "talks break down" though (at the moment of his choosing).

Even the one time posters on here that stick up for Nixon and keep saying there are doing the best they can have stopped posting.
Moorlads post is entirely correct. Nixon didn't want the Lapping deal known about, he kept saying there was no one interested when I knew fine well that Andrew was planning something and talking to Nixon. Because I kept badgering on about it on here and FB, emailing him and then Lumsden came out with it he had no choice but to go along with it as he couldn't keep it secret no more.
Nixon wanted an investor to invest money but the status quo to remain, this was never going to happen. Any potential investor that came to BP he shunned and treat badly and they walked away.
Nixon wants the new stadium legacy theres no other reason unless some dodgy accounting has been found in the audits. Remember CUFCs lawyers weren't forthcoming in the due diligence stage.

Where is Jon Coleman anyway?
