Would you give Keith Curle credit if he won 10 on the bounce? (Theoretically speaking) I'd take him for a 'cheeky Nandos' if we did!

Right, bollocks to how busy he is and all that sort of thing. officialcufc please ask Keef for his opinion on a cheeky nandos with CCU if we win 10 on the bounce. I'd love to watch that through the big window on Warwick Road. Wouldn't be the first time I've watched CCU through a window to be honest but that's a different matter.

Yet another embarrassing own goal from the Club. They honestly don't learn a thing.
Curle needs the fans on his side as much as possible, because come the middle of September when we are struggling at the bottom, he will be bleating to the Press about every little thing that is causing it, other than his own obvious deficiencies.
The man is a complete tool.

He wont mashi.
Well I’m sure Danny ’top banter’ Grainger would go in his place if Keith couldn't make it. The only downside is he will try to flog you some of his herbal supplement s***!

Football is a results business, if Curle came out and told us a minute by minute account of what has happened since returning from his holidays is wouldn't matter didly squat if we lose our 1st 3 games. Fans have a very short memory. I don't care what he does or what he says preseason, results on the pitch will make or break him. Mountains out of mole hills all this chat. CCU please start a positive rumour

To be honest I'm finding his current media silence very enjoyable. Do you really want to hear him bang on about players being honest... trust... blah blah ... earn the right to play.... blah... player attitudes... blah blah. I can certainly do with a few weeks break from that. I would expect to hear from him when his pre-season gimmicks start to kick in.... expect army boot camps, something where the players see how hard ordinary people work and how privilidged they are to be footballers, more David Brent-esque management training inspired team bonding sessions, like leading each other around the pitch blindfolded getting over obstacles... we might even see a sports psychologist drafted in to get rid of losing attitudes.
Enjoy the silence while it lasts.....

There are some videos on the official twitter showing alterations to the dressing room and removal of the boot room to make more office space. Guess this is what was meant tweaking the "physical environment". Theres probably been very few changes at BP since the floods, at least Curle isnt just accepting it as it is if hes not happy, but in reality removing a few walls wont make much difference. Maybe he thinks if it looks different then it might reinforce that this is a new regime, if everything looked the same then the players might just have the same mentality which over the last few years has been shite - every little helps I suppose

It's time to bury the hatchet officialcufc. Is it not possible to arrange a day of pre-season training for CCU under The Manager to help him change his mind.

If I was Keith Curle I'd certainly have been reading up on all the messageboards and the social media sites, I'm sure he must do that to get some idea how feelings are running. He'll certainly have some sort of idea about what the fans are feeling about the possible restructure and other stuff. There is no way he'll want to say anything about either Lapping or the non existent millionaire, just in case he happens to alienate either party and jeopardise his own situation. He already isn't exactly flavour of the month with certain board members because he's spoken out about a few things as well.
It looks to me like he's letting his actions talk louder than words at the moment, and just making small comments on the players he's signing through the club website. Also he's likely been away on holiday, and he knows the season is going to be a time when he's away from his family a lot as well.
I don't see it as anything sinister, or any sort of a problem that he's not giving interviews, just as long as he keeps getting players through the door.
My problem is with club structure rather than team structure, and this is in danger of becoming a bit of a smoke screen and taking away fro the much more important issue of the overall club structure for the future. Add to that the Trust as well, and Mr Curle's lack of inane chattering pales into insignificance in my view.

Well at least he is not embarrassing us in the national media with his ridiculous 'male genitalia' patter.

The national media love him, they can always ask him stuff about the black managers and coaches issue as well as Carlisle stuff. He's a bit of a godsend to them, he talks loads, is quite opinionated and I'm sure he's an interviewers dream, usually.

It is always possible that he doesn't want to stand up and sell us his big dream for next season and then be seen disappearing out of the side door if a big money takeover however unlikely does happen, Keith is well aware the first person to go would be him to be replaced by a more glamorous statement of intent by the new owners. Probably has his eye out for any pending vacancy's elsewhere.

Curle is quite high profile with the national media, and he knows it. The club could even end up being branded racist by getting rid, and they know it.
I don't think he's refusing to speak, there are others at the club that need to communicate more urgently than Curle. He is obviously working, and working quite hard at the moment, the constraints on him are appalling, and he'll be aware that there is going to be a further significant revenue drop when everything comes out about all this takeover rubbish. He is just as well getting on with his core job and saying nowt, certainly he doesn't need to be fending off questions about the ownership of the club, and what he's going to do in the event of some other owner coming in. He just wants to keep his head down, get some players in and get ready for the season.
I imagine he'll be saying something quite soon, once a few things are sorted, and before pre season starts.
