I went to that, they have the 6th most members in Germany I think.
The Stadium has sucked the life out of the support. Hoping they draw Bayern in the 1st round Cup draw tonight.

Why do they struggle so much. Youd think with that fanbase they should be able to sustain a top division team.

Fans hate the Stadium for starters, not their traditional home - they are from Giesing, which is working class Munich really: www.gruenwalder-stadion.com/index_new.php?id=29They often talk about moving back there but it is too small, it is a great atmosphere at them amateur derbys but 13k is too small. They sold their half of the Allianz to Bayern as well and have issues with their owners etc... Been away with them a few times and it is a really good do, they don't half get smashed like, some be sleeping on the terrace and stuff. Really funny in Bavaria when you look at it with Augsburg and Ingolstadt doing so well but 1860 and Nuremberg struggling, the latter two are massive Clubs. Some people love the Allianz when they come but to me it is hard work, it is out of town and has nothing around it. I have thought about getting a season ticket for them next season, it is 192 euros I think for standing, I have tried getting really in to them but the home games are really hard work, as I say the away games are magic.
