6/1 to get relegated next season. History shows that when Big Sam leaves a club, they go down. Worth a punt at 6/1?

Them getting rid of Allerdyce shows what a sham the PL is for me...
Took them up in his first season, consolidated with 10th, 13th and 12th place finishes. Stability basically, with a move to a new Ground in a year.
The new Ground could be the chance to push on and try break into the top 6. Now they're going to have to bring in a new boss, who'll want his own squad, and basically the foundations will be ripped apart.
Regardless of price, they deserve relegation for me. Would be a big two fingers to Sullivan and Gold trying to fill the new Ground from the Championship...

Listening to the west ham fans down here makes Keith Curle seem like the most popular manager in our history!
Just shows you what a deluded bunch these premier league mongy fans are

Heard Sam being interviewed after the game and he was a bit bullish stating that even if there was a new deal offered he wouldn't have taken it and it was time to move on.
Probably would have signed but the fans were on his back as he didn't 'play the West Ham way'.
Some clown rang in saying that they would rather be in The Championship playing proper football than The Premier League under big Sam.

It is hard to watch mind, you hear that more and more now mind from some lads who follow sides who yo yo between Prem and Championship that they prefer being in the Championship more, can understand why to tell truth.

Too hard to get out of The Championship though, you have to throw a fortune at it and it still guarantees nothing.
Agree though it is a great league to watch.

Think it is more that you always know when you will be playing nigh on and the atmospheres perhaps. Can go months without a home match at 3pm on a Saturday in Premier League etc...becomes too much after a while like.
Personally I like West Ham, hope to go Upton park next season one more time before it goes - proper Stadium.

Too few old style grounds left in the league, I think it is a shame that they are moving.
However, now that West Ham will be playing in a new stadium they will surely have to change the West Ham 'style of play' to befit the new era?

Will say a lot if he goes Derby now and gets them up first time, would back them to go up if he does.

Pre match pint probably be in Westfield Shopping Centre now will it? Interesting to see how they do, reckon they will settle at about 9s to go down on Betfair come first day of season.

I can see were West Ham fans are coming from though. They've only won 3 games this year and the tactics are grim, especially away by all accounts.
Plus there's only so much you can take of big Sams ugly mug.

Confirmed in Europa League, they'll take a few away with them for a decent draw...

Exactly, could wind up going Dortmund in that Cup and certain people feel it is waste of space.

Confirmed in Europa League, they'll take a few away with them for a decent draw... The fact that they are competing in this poxy tournament only encourages me to put the bet on for them to go down. An already weak squad playing Thursday and Sunday suggests a season of struggle to me. That said,a new manager might change things I suppose, and break the relegation curse caused when Big Sam leaves a club.

Ask Sevilla and Dnipro fans if it's pointless?
Get better destinations often in it too, fans of teams in CL must get bored of going Munich, Madrid and Milan etc...
