Wonder if he hesitated before he said each sentence?

Bet he's got one of the best goals per minute ratios in recent seasons?
Fair few of them appearances were from the bench later on?

Said before that he'd be much better in a confident, winning team. If that's our aim next season then maybe we should've kept him.

Curle seems to appreciate graft and tracking back more than skill.

Curle seems to appreciate graft and tracking back more than skill. You still want him at Carlisle ? (Amoo not Curle which judging from your dig that question hardly needs asking.) There isn't a single person on this board that hasn't been puzzled by Amoo's mindset, we know he has some talent but he puts it all together in about 3 games a season and that is unacceptable really. Still nice comments and no attack on the manager which comes as a welcome relief.

I would disagree on Amoo though carwash, yes he has skill but I reckon he must have made his mind up long ago that his heart wasn't at Carlisle United, bit of a liability for us as when we were a couple of goals down most of the time his was the first head to drop, he was just a passenger.
Might do well elsewhere but the third tier wage that we were paying him might be best spent on other players.

Bet he's got one of the best goals per minute ratios in recent seasons? Fair few of them appearances were from the bench later on? I think he was very harshly treated at times. I don't recall wingers the likes of Welsh, Hurst and others getting such relentless stick. Is it because he was black?

I very much doubt it, from memory Welsh got plenty of stick and he got it because he was weak and shite, I remember Hurst's name but nothing much else about him and I guess that says a lot more about his performances than his colour. Besides players that had good relationships with the fans... Hawley before he fucked us off for Preston Big Keith Walwyn Andy Watson Stéphane Pounewatchy Andy Preece Rod Thomas Dean Walling Chris Billy There's 8 off the top of my head, bunch of racist ******s oop north you know.

Time for Amoo to move on he's had 2 seasons to prove himself and he's been inconsistent and a liability defensively; when we're not in possession of the ball. He can be good going forward but it's too little too often. I would have loved it to work out for him, at Carlisle, but he wasn't even that good in his first season; he won awards because everyone else was so poor. Watching Amoo, we were all left consistently frustrated rather than being entertained. I think this will be his last chance for league football otherwise I could see him dropping out of the league. Teams can't afford to carry players these days and thats why he's going. I wish him well, if he can fix certain aspects of his game he could be a championship /league one player. I'm not sure he has the head for it though and I imagine he will always struggle with form and confidence.

No I agree it is time for him to leave Carlisle. As he said himself he isn't the sort of player Curle was looking for which is fair enough. He is rubbish defensively and occasionally brilliant going forward so he'll always have his critics. I just like to see a bit of genuine skill in the team and apart from Dempsey's exceptional talent we are likely to end up with a hardworking functional side rather than one that will be exciting to watch.

When the crowd chanted Amoo I always thought it was a chance for his naysayers to get a boo in.
This isn't the first club he's been too where the fans have said similar things to what has already been said countless times about him on here. Preston&Tranmere springs to mind when we signed him.
I guess that's just the player he is and he's not going to change now.

He's came across way better than I expected to be honest... A ratio of nearly 1 in 4 for a wideman is damn good added he's played in a struggling side for 2 seasons makes it more impressive... Whilst he frustrated many he did have talent but my personal opinion is that he's a luxury player at this level... If you had a decent side which we haven't had playing well he's a lad you'd love playing with freedom on their defender / last man using his pace.
Fact is he's played 2 seasons in front of **** poor full backs that don't afford him the luxury to do what he does best!
Good luck to him

In a decent side I think he'd be OK. Blaming a winger all the time him for goals doesn't say much for the defence!

You would think with KC being a ex international defender he would be able to sort the defence? I do blame the continued injuries of Gillespie as a big fault mind. He is a very good keeper when fit.

Sensible comments from Amoo... there is no point burning bridges when you leave a club.
I would be amazed if he doesn't get another league club. He has pace and a 1 in 4 goal scoring record for a wide man. That is a very appealing combination at this level. He just needs to find an attack minded club, who place more importance on his attacking attributes than defensive ones. Personally I would probably have kept him as we are desperately short of pace, goals and skill currently... As long as KC has better options available then it's not a problem though.
