You boxed well tonight but he was a bum. You need to up your opposition and show your class now, it's time to move on from bums

Zambrano ain't no 'bum'. Decent record and South American Champion. Sure, he's lost the 'big fights'... But generally he gets outpointed. Joshua won the Olympic title when almost a novice. No real amateur experience, so needs to be paced accordingly. He's got Kingpin Johnson next - top 20 heavyweight with experience and savvy; good marker. Potential all-time great... Dependent on his chin, and can he give it when he gets it back at him? Great card on the 30th - much better value than the May/Paq event.

Yep, thought he'd lose to Kameda to be honest. Genuine World class act now.

But it is time he stepped up and at least Johnson will test him more than the bums he has faced upto now, I understand he has never been stopped so it should be a better gauge.

I won't have anyone say that British heavyweight boxing is rubbish, especially now I'm ranked at number 3.

AJ's done what Klitschko, Fury and Chisora couldn't. Would love to see him clean up Price, Chisora and Fury before taking out Wilder and Klitschko.

Kevin Johnson looked a bum. He didn't even have his own trainer, but AJ just didn't give him a look in. As said above he will clean up domestically and can't wait for him to fight wilder, that yank has a big gob and can't wait for our boy to shut him up. Kell brook needs to go to America now and fight someone in top 10. He was a class apart last night too.

For the attention of Anthony Joshua.... F*cking hell ey!
On topic the lads unbelievable! Kevin Johnson had never been stopped before last night so give AJ some credit he wasn't fighting a nobody! 13 fights 13 KO's only taken past round 2 on once.... He'll be World Champ soon enough... I like the fact he's a humble man as well not a gobsh*te... A real class act and good luck to him

It wasn't a huge shock lads, he was 1to66 to win and 5to6 to win within 4 rounds I think.

Who is he likely to fight next? Price? Hearn suggested Price, Chisora or Whyte (who beat him in the amateurs). Would prefer to see him in with Tony Thompson.

Fair enough, the reference is probably more appropriate to Fury and Chisora. Both within the last 18 months and couldn't put him away. Fury is meant to be top 5 in the division.

I bet Joshua is quaking in his boots after reading this thread PMSL. Seriously though, Johnson might be past his prime but this is the first time he has been stopped, Klitchco, Fury etc all failed to stop him

Hopefully he has learned from his defeats, he too like AJ looked very good up until that point. If he has ambition to fight at world level he needs to win this European title, I can't say I've seen the other guy although he is unbeaten. Must say I wasn't impressed with wilder on Saturday night and It gives optimism for all our domestic heavyweights.

Would expect Price to be about 1to10 at a guess like. Wouldn't have any idea who else will be on that card would you?
