Didn't Mark Gillespie's injury occur in early November? Within a few days he stated on Radio Cumbria's Tuesday football program that although the estimate of his return was 8 weeks he felt that with a bit of luck it would be 6 weeks.
Maybe these estimates were for a return to playing, with an operation to firmly set things right at the end of the season. Has he had the operation that will keep him out for longer but will fully cure him, given that Kav has got a solid loan replacement for him who is likely to want to stay on in January?

For me Ben Amos is a more solid keeper than Mark and I don't know how long the injury is for Mark but understand we want to extend Ben's loan beyond the new year.

The goalkeeper performance has a lot to do with the protection he gets from the 4 defenders in front of him. Westwood was very lucky in the respect. Gillespie however, has made do with a terrible situation and constant change in front of him.

Amos also has a more settled back four in front of him now but when we lose Max Ehmer that could lead to a unsettled one, Max has really took to cufc I would love to sign him permanent but don't think it will happen always seems to be smiling in pre-match training and made good friends with some of the team mates Although CMW will no-doubt fill his shoes I still think Ehmer is our best CB at the moment.

Fleming at the stadium of light leaves me with a worried feeling inside me I'm afraid. With Gillespie not back, I hope Moyes has a change of heart and lets Amos play.
