There is fuck all antagonism between the two clubs. All that has to be done to make our mark on the occasion is for the team to have a shit on the dressing room floor, thus making it The Stadium Of Shite.

Build a bonfire, Build a bonfire, Put Burnley on the top, Put the Preston in the middle, And burn the f*ckin lot ;D Please, please, no. Not at Sunderland. Maybe when we go back to PNE in April, but at no other time. Plenty of the classics will do, we need the songs that everyone will know to create the best possible atmosphere.

agree with deano on this one. a bit of 'take me home, warwick road' will get the atmosphere gan.

"we'll have to hand out song sheets to help out the plastics haha"
The plastics? Here we go again with the same argument. So what if people pick and choose their games? Would you rather we had 3000 every week and went under? I didn't miss a home game for years, went to the odd game in a out 5 years, than started going again. I bet there are plenty of "plastics" at the Sunderland game who have put more money into the club over the years than you "in the city"

As long as they're supporting the Blues, I couldn't care less who they were, or how many games they've been to. More money for the club, and more support on the day.

Now Mojo, come on now there's obviously a gulf in the meaning of the word "plastics" My version is someone who would only ever go to a game of such stature, and doesnt know any songs (as going with the title thread) The version of "plastics" according to Siamesedream is someone who obviously throws thousands upon thousands into the club, but never goes to a game, therefore hasnt a clue what to sing. 31 years ago was my first game, these "plastics" must keeping us afloat anonymously.

Inthecity, you appear to be, shall we say, intellectually challenged. So I will explain. Lots of people who want to go to the Sunderland game have not been to Brunton Park in a while, maybe they can't afford it or have kids, whatever. Anyway, whatever reason, why should anyone have to justify going to a football match?! It's snobs like you that suck the joy out of watching cufc.

These people would still KNOW the songs. - keep with the subject
You obviously have some beef with me, start a thread about if and stop hijacking this one it a vein attempt to take some pointless moral high ground.

I have no idea who you are . And I don't have a "beef" with you. I just happen to disagree with you. Oh, and is putting forward a different pointing "hijacking" a thread?! Or do we all have to agree with you cos you were here first

Its not that you disagree, its just how far out of context you've taken it. And i never started the thread, if you would care to check.
