Pretty sure we were going to sign Morgan before Yeovil came in for him I wondered that, didn't we get somebody else from Liverpool at the same time but he wasn't up to much ?

Depending on Gillespie's contact situation I would look at Colin Doyle, Sam Slocombe or Fon Williams to replace. Would also like to see Harte (as a CB) and Madine signed.
Signing Kennedy and Atkinson would be 2 smart moves to add some continuity to this season just gone.
Kevin McNaughton would be a good signing, experience RB from Scotland, released by Dundee. He'll probably end up back at Motherwell though.

Why not take a look at someone like Carl Magnay, Had a good season at grimsby, contract is up , was born in gateshead so might be easier for him to play for us and can play right across the back four.

He's an odd one. Former Chelsea youth i think. I saw him play for Gateshead at barnet the season before last as a left back and thought he looked quite a good player. Released by Gateshead and now released by Grimsby strangely. Gateshead have a good winger called St Luce? Quick, strong and skill on the ball but then Gateshead wingers......................

He hasnt been released by Grimsby just know his contract is up so he will be available nothing, but Kevin Sainte-Luce is a player who might be worth a trial.

Kevin Sainte-Luce. The lad who was sacked by Cardiff after being found guilty of assaulting two women. And then being deemed not good enough for AFC Wimbledon and released. No thanks, I'd rather Curle kept picking Connor Hammell on the wing.

Good job his names not mud like Ched so he can go about his chosen career still, football it is an odd game at times.

Didn't know any of that when I suggested St Luce as a talented player. Someone who smacks women about obviously wouldn't fit in in Carlisle.

Fairly brutal approach by Yeovil rather than just 'making them available' "The club now deem surplus to requirements the following players who have all been made offers to terminate their contracts to enable them to find new clubs. If they choose not to accept these offers and return to the club they will do so knowing they will not be given a squad number and not considered for playing matches. The players are: AJ Leitch-Smith, James Berrett, Adam Morgan, Artur Krysiak. " Sturrock: “I have made the decision that we have to clear the decks as I think there is a negativity and lack of commitment and a losing mentality amongst the squad of players and with that in mind we have released the players listed above. “People might think it is a bit drastic but after watching last night at Taunton and last Sunday at MK Dons I do feel it is appropriate and I cannot tolerate lack of commitment and a losing mentality as I have already said. “I am very hopeful that the players we have offered termination deals to will accept them. “I deliberately wandered around the ground at Taunton to listen to the fans thoughts and comments and I know that you can’t con a football fan. This is the game to which he refers guess by picking them and naming no subs he was already sending a message: www.ytfc.net/news/article/glovers-lose-to-taunton-town-in-somerset-premier-cup-2446694.aspxTown opted for a strong starting eleven and named no substitutes on the bench for the fixture. They lost........... Yeovil Town: Weale, Twumasi, Smith, Edwards, Moore, Berrett, Grant, Ugwu, Leitch-Smith, Hayter, Morgan. AJ Leitch-Smith, James Berrett, Adam Morgan all in that line up.............

Hoskins certainly would be a good signing if he plays like a couple of years ago. I think Curle has a limited budget at the moment though and will be looking for defenders. If he can move on the availables then he might look further forward

I don't think we'll do very well if we're signing Oxford's rejects to be honest

Jack King is apparently being released by PNE, would be a good signing midfielder similar to Kennedy, does his job and allows others to play around him, can play at center half if needed. Was a non league player untill signing for PNE, so wouldn't be on to high wages, always looked a good player against us.

I've only just noticed from the 1st post that Nicky Bailey has been released by Millwall. Hopefully he will get a horrible fungal infection in his big toe that prevents him from ever kicking a ball again. He will then have to go and find a proper job in which he can't handle it,and is bullied by colleagues for being a whining, snivelling, crying conman. And with a bit of luck the rest of his life is a misery. Little tw*t.

I hope we have a go at signing a couple of young Premier League/Championship rejects this summer instead of just other lower league rejects. No more Billy Paynters please.
