In the modern world of social media, the Internet, forums etc, we search for snippets of information constantly. Probably too much and it makes us paranoid and talk of conspiracy is rife. That's just the way it is.
Personally I don't think the current owners are anything other than guilty of working as though it is still 1970. Those were the days when football club owners were never known or talked about. No one knew who was on the board or anything like that. The manager done all the talking. They have never moved on from that mindset. They still treat the fans with that 1970s contempt too. Other clubs are steaming ahead of us because they use the media well to build community clubs with strong links. They no doubt think that we don't need to be told anything until they are ready. Wrong. To not tell us anything for a week is bad but a month is unforgivable. Especially after, rather patronisingly, trying to palm us off with a short statement and mumblings of news in 5 to 10 days. Frustrating

Seem to remember them announcing that they were pleased to announce etc etc, their continuing silence after stating a 5-10 day time scale is unbelievable and just underlines their incompetence.

The government of Freedonia have a better communications policy and strategy than us tbh... We don't even have Comical Andy doing daily briefings unlike his namesake...
