Changed the word pis sed to drunk as it never showed up.
"Associates" - you meet folk who have previously been banned yourself, funny old do.
Very few people go now who I know, only ever hear of it being a poor experience to be honest. I would go next weekend but find being around a certain type of person ruins seeing a new City, will go Slovenia in July or August to watch a European match or League game instead.

By the way "a mate" had a ban which included the World Cup in Germany in 2006 and he was living in Spain, he rang the banning order lot up 2 months before it started and told them, they said don't worry about it. Never heard anymore. Just like when you go into a pharmacy and say a mate has got an itch on his crotch, what cream would you suggest

It was without a doubt the worst game I've ever watched live. Terrible from start to finish - which resulted in no atmosphere whatsoever. Met Paul Scholes on the flight home though. Was there any "no surrender" etc reeves? Did you go Temple Bar? Bet it is a dear pint there now.

No, absolutely nothing. No booing of the anthems or anything from either side.
We were out in Temple Bar on Friday and Saturday night, and didn't see/hear a bit of trouble at all there either.
About 6-7 EUR for a pint round there, which isn't too bad really with the current exchange rate.

It's £4.30 for a pint of San Miguel in my local in Cheadle, so I can't complain.

They must have put the prices up for the England fans because we were there 5 weeks ago and we never paid more than 5 euro a pint round temple bar. It was mainly around 4.80 euro. The most expensive was in the hotel at 5.20 euro

I watched about 15 minutes of this, and saw Lallana shoot over the bar, some Irish fella shoot wide, and Sterling get round the back and win a corner, so any of these people saying that it was the worst game they've ever seen definitely weren't at our 0-0 draw at home to Hereford in April 1993. Astonishingly poor like. Ah well. At least Welbeck didn't play.
