Hanford White Troy Thirlwell Brough Potts Dempsey Dicker Robson Rigg Beck So just Robson in for Grainger. No point in tinkering too much with a winning team. Hopefully we might have Amoo fit for the bench.

A sterner test this one against Plymouth, we don't often do well there. Saying that, Curle could stick out a youth team and still get a draw

I should have added that Grainger is suspended (well according to Jon Colman).

There's also the issue of Archibald-Henville. We have Burton Albion at home on the Tuesday after this game. Assuming he can't play both, which game do we rest him for?

Hmm i'd probably say Plymouth, just in case anyone else picks up a knock during that game. Play Thirlwell and O'Hanlon against Plymouth (but make sure White tracks back as their strikers are quick and our CBs aren't) and then play Troy on Tuesday, giving him a bigger rest and not risking a CB shortage for Burton.

Plymouth play as a 3-5-2 and their wing-backs like we had, aren't natural defenders... hopefully if Amoo is back, him and White can link up well against the Plymouth left-back

Didn't realise Grainger was suspended!
As for Troy, stick to Saturday games, then he gets a routine. If he missed Sat, but played Tues, he'd probs struggle for following Sat?

Stick with Troy, we need to be solid as possible away from home, and this will be a very tough test.
Robson in at LB for me, and I'd leave Rigg out, and go with the experience of Elliott.

Get your point but two games back to back next week at home, and a new starter to league football who according to some has looked shattered 60 - 70 mins into games. Rest him to keep fresh, we've a squad, it's there to use.

Depends what he says though, if he is tired then its worth resting him, must be much more intense than he's been used to.

This will probably be our most difficult game under him so far. Does he play it safe, try contain Plymouth, try and catch them on the break, or try and be open and attack.

Considering his whole 'stop them playing' approach I would assume the former, and as much as i'd like us to attack them I don't think its a good idea against a team in the play-off positions. Their best player (Reuben Reid) was arrested on Saturday though so hopefully he isn't on good form.

Shattered through giving his absolute all and chasing every single ball down, dropping into the midfield and doing leg work all over the pitch, not because he's unfit. I'm of the opinion we need to win every game possible to get us as far away from the bottom of the table as possible. That's the only way to continue momentum. He's our best striker at the moment (ironic). Play him

Careful now. You wouldn't be suggesting that a professional footballer is allowed to be tired would you??? Sacrilege. :-)
It might be prudent to make a couple of changes but I would be tempted to try and maintain consistency where possible. Strongest/in form team for Plymouth and then see about changes for the tuesday game.

Why can't Troy play both games and sit out some training? Like Paul McGrath did at Villa years ago?

Big difference between games and training. Guessing he probs get swelling etc after a game, and has an adjusted training routine...

Why would you 'shake it up a bit' with a team thats won 3 on the bounce in the League?

Why would you 'shake it up a bit' with a team thats won 3 on the bounce in the League? Baring in mind we've arguably beat the 3 worst teams in the division, id take rigg and brough out, this'll be a much bigger test.

Rigg plays 2 League Games, scores 2 Goals, so you'd drop him? Goalscorers breed on confidence, you play him until he hits a low spot, end of...
