Thanks Armo, much appreciated.
Matt - I haven't forgotten, I've just been extremely busy / away. Will try and pop in Monday to collect sponsorship. What time does Lloyd's open?

My view is that any surplus is dirceted to the club as soon as ... pitch sponsorship? Match ball? The latter is probably more than we have but could be a good way of promoting the "unofficial" fan club.

Sounds that it will cost ££ (500???) - and methinks people will get ****ed off fairly quickly if we were to pass the hat around again - it would be like contributing to the red cross once and then get emails and circulars for the next x number of years!

I understand the photo shoot should take place over the next few weeks. If anybody has not yet contributed, but wishes to do so, please let me know. Anybody who has not paid by the time the photo shoot is announced will not be in the running for it, or the signed shirts. All details (including payments outstanding) in the first post.
Thanks.

Should be due to receive CMW's home/away shirts, signed, soon. Once they're received, I'll draw 2 names at random from the list of contributors.
We can then look ahead to sponsorship for next season, if there is still as much interest. There is £40 in the coffers that carried over from the season just gone. We'll need to decide whether to continue sponsoring CMW, bearing in mind today's news, or whether to sponsor a different player - current, or wait until we see what transfers come in.

Can we get our name in early for Dempsey if it's a first come first served basis, or do you have to pay more for ones more people are likely to want?

Can we get our name in early for Dempsey if it's a first come first served basis, or do you have to pay more for ones more people are likely to want? I don't know, will enquire with the club. I would assume that current sponsors get first dibs to renew the sponsorship for the following season. The amounts are fixed, so you can't out-bid somebody else - it's first come first served from the list of available players. Personally I'd like to sponsor one of the young lads that have come through - Dempsey, Gillespie, Brough. Even extend that to the likes of Hammell. These young lads need to know that the fans will help/support them, and back them - in return for 100% effort every time they cross the white line. Just checked, Dempsey was sponsored by Route 66 Blues Travel for the 2014/15 season, is that the west travel group?

It'd have to be probably, can't imagine they'd give the full cash back if any of the money had already been spent on whatever it gets spent on?

Been advised by the Commercial dept. today that there has been a problem with the home/away shirts that Courtney was supposed to sign and pass to us as sponsors. Katie Mitchell from the club is currently trying to resolve the situation. I'll keep you updated.
